Open Question: Prepping for a Marathon Walk. Why isn’t the weight coming off?
OK.. I am prepping for a 50 mile 3 day walk coming up in Sept. I am up to about 17.5 miles this week. I have a really healthy diet and for the most part I HAVE NOT LOST ANY FREAKING WEIGHT!
I find that I have to eat something substantial before my 5-7 mile walks or my blood sugar dips. What gives.. My legs feel tight.. there is still cellulite there.. and I am still a women's size 16...
I do not have time to incorporate weight training into my program... not until after my walk in Sept.
Has anyone seen fat marathoners? Does anyone have a sweet clue as to why I am not dropping weight like crazy?
Sorry. My arthritis can not stand the pounding of running.... it's a no go for this body of mine.
